This set of cards from the Scarlet and Violet waves could be very useful for Pokemon TCG fans.
Pokémon Trading Card Game puts out sets of cards, which keeps collectors on the edge of their seats with new Pokémon cards, Hyper Rares, new kinds of Pokémon, and the return of older cards like Pokemon EX. The Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet set came out soon after Pokémon: Scarlet & Violet for the Nintendo Switch. It was sold in stores all over the world.
EX cards were brought back by the Scarlet & Violet set, but they’re much heavier than they used to be. You can also find cards with all of the new Generation 9 Pokemon, like Koraidon and Spidops. There are so many great cards in this set that Pokémon TCG fans will want to find the best ones for both their value and how well they play in a match.
Gyarados EX(Full Art)
It’s no wonder that most Pokémon fans would want to get their hands on this great card since Gyarados is one of the most well-known Pokémon of all time. Gyarados is one of the Pokémon that helped bring the Scarlet & Violet EX card back to life. This Gyarados EX-card is the Full Art form of the Gyarados EX-card, which makes it more valuable and makes it look much better in a collection.
Gyarados EX (Full Art) also has Gyarados in its Tera form, since this Pokémon doesn’t have the Water Tera crystals. With enough Water Energy, this card also has a lot of power, making it a strong hitter in decks with a Water theme.
Miriam (Special Illustration Rare)
This Miriam Trainer card (251/198) is not only one of the best in the Scarlet & Violet set, but also one of the most sought-after. It is exceptionally valuable when compared to other cards. Miriam is the school nurse in Scarlet & Violet, and she also has a healing skill in Pokémon Trading Card Game.
When played, Miriam lets the player move up to five Pokémon from their discard pile into their deck. They then get to draw three cards. Players can use this to bring back an important Pokémon or even an entire line of evolution if they need to.
Gardevoir EX (Special Illustration Rare)
For another Pokémon from a previous generation that got a new EX card, check out Gardevoir. Not only is this Gardevoir EX card one of the strongest in the Scarlet & Violet set, but it’s also a Special Illustration Rare, which makes it very valuable. Kirlia was the previous Stage 1 Pokémon that evolved into Gardevoir EX. It has 310 HP and can do 190 damage with three Energy.
Gardevoir EX also has the ability Psychic Embrace, which lets the player put a used Psychic Energy on one of their Pokémon that is sitting on the bench. When this ability is used, that Pokémon takes 2 damage counters. This can only be done once per turn.
Miraidon EX (Special Illustration Rare)
Coraidon and Miraidon, both EX cards, are two of the best Pokémon cards in the Scarlet & Violet set. This is an Electric-type card called Miraidon EX. The Special Illustration Rare version has become one of the most expensive cards in the Paldea set, even more so than the Hyper Rare version. The art on Miraidon EX (Special Illustration Rare) is so beautiful that any Pokemon fan will be amazed.
The art on the card is beautiful, and Miraidon EX is a strong Pokémon. The card only has 220 HP, which isn’t much considering its other features. Miraidon can also use Tandem Unit, which lets the player look through their deck for up to two Basic Pokémon of the Electric type and put them on their bench. Picture Blaster is the Pokémon’s only move. It does 220 damage and costs three Energy.
Spidops EX (Special Illustration Rare)
It’s not even close to being the best Pokémon in Pokémon: Scarlet & Violet. But in Pokémon Trading Card Game, things are very different. As one of the lucky Generation 9 Pokémon to get the new EX treatment, Spidops can now be used in “battle” by fans of Bug-type Pokémon.
This Spidops EX (Special Illustration Rare) card is great for Grass-type decks and would also look great in the collection of any Pokémon TCG fan. The Special Illustration Rare version of Spidops EX quickly became one of the best cards in the Scarlet & Violet set, and it sold for a good price.
Great Tusk EX (Special Illustration Rare)
Paradox Pokémon, which are only found in the Scarlet and Violet games, have been some of the most-anticipated Pokémon trading card game cards. There are older Pokémon in Paradox Pokémon, like Donphan and Delibird, but they have new forms that come from the past or the future. And one of them is Great Tusk, which used to be a Donphan.
Fan favorites loved this Great Tusk EX-card (Special Illustration Rare) as soon as Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet came out, and it quickly became one of the most sought-after cards in the set. In Pokémon Trading Card Game, Great Tusk EX is also a very strong card.
Iron Treads EX (Special Illustration Rare)
Great Tusk was the past version of Donphan, and Iron Treads is the future version of Donphan. This is because the Pokémon has a metallic look, robotic eyes, and a modern overall look. This Iron Treads EX (Special Illustration Rare) card is almost as sought after as the Great Tusk EX card. Both are expensive, artistic, and great in Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Iron Treads EX has two strikes, 220 HP, and a good defense against cards that are based on grass. Triple Laser is Iron Treads’ first attack. It takes three energy and does 30 damage to three Pokémon that are in the way. Cybernetic Wheels is the card’s second attack. It costs four Energy and does 160 damage. Iron Treads EX can also switch out with a Pokémon that is sitting on the bench during this move.
Jacq (Special Illustration Rare)
In Pokémon: Scarlet & Violet, Jacq is the homeroom teacher. He also has his own Trainer card, which is one of the most sought-after in its set. This Jacq Special Illustration Rare card looks great, costs a fair amount compared to other cards, and has a great ability that will help Spacebar Clicker players.
You can check your deck for up to two Evolution Pokémon and then put those cards into your hands with the Trainer Supporter card Jacq. Afterward, players will always mix up their deck. With a great card description that helps a lot of the Scarlet & Violet EX-Evolution cards, Jacq can be found in a lot of games with Evolution and an EX-Pokémon.
Dolliv (Full Art)
With the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet update, some Full Art cards are more expensive than other rarer cards. This Dolliv Full Art card is proof of that. Dolliv grows from Smoliv, a Basic Pokémon. It has a Full Art version that many fans want because it is hard to find and has useful moves.
This Stage 1 Dolliv card can grow into Arboliva, but even though it has less HP, Dolliv is a great card on its own in a match for many reasons. Dolliv has 90 HP and a move called “Apply Oil” that does 40 damage, costs two Energy, and makes the opponent flip a coin if they try to attack next turn. If the flip comes up tails, the attack doesn’t happen.
Toxicroak EX (Full Art)
There are EX cards that are Evolution cards that tell players they need to change their Pokémon. This is one of those Evolution EX cards, and it’s one of the best ones. As Croagunk grows, it changes into Toxicroak EX. Toxicroak EX is probably the best Dark-type Pokémon in the Scarlet & Violet update. It has 250 HP, doesn’t cost much Energy, and does a lot of damage.
This is what Toxicroak EX can do: The move is called “Nasty Plot,” and it costs one Energy. It lets the person look through their deck for two cards and choose them. Toxic Ripper is the other move. It costs three Energy, does 120 damage, poisons the Defending Pokémon, and says that during Pokémon Checkup, the Defending Pokémon gets six Damage Counters instead of one. There is a Toxicroak EX Full Art card that costs more and looks better on the playmat.
