Skyrim is a great game with a lot of skills, including many ways to use lightning magic and shock damage to hurt enemies.
If you play Skyrim, you have a lot of options. You can try out a lot of different builds and see which ones work best for you. There are so many cool ways to play Skyrim that people who are either new to the game or coming back to it will be shocked by how many other players have found to push the limits of how the game can be finished.
There are some very powerful builds in Skyrim, like sneak-archer builds and builds that only use a magical wooden sword as a weapon. One of the best ways to play, though, is as a sorcerer. Some players have loved channeling their inner Emperor Palpatine by focusing on damaging lightning magic.
Sparks
Sparks is the most simple lightning-based spell in Skyrim. This is an easy-level destruction spell that doesn’t do much, but players should get it early on and use it a lot if they want to become strong destruction-magic mage later on.
A bolt of lightning-based energy is fired at the victim by Sparks. Every second, it does eight points of damage to health and four points of damage to magicka. It’s not likely to kill anything but the most basic threats for players since they won’t be able to use it for a long time at the start of the game.
Lightning Rune
Runes are a cool way to hurt enemies. In Skyrim, knowing how to sneak is one of the most popular skills because it lets players use many weapons, especially daggers and bows. However, even mages have great choices when it comes to sneaking in the game.
Making lightning runes is one of the best ideas. When someone walks over them, they will be shocked and take fifty points of damage. The player can shock and confuse enemies while using other spells to finish them off, but it usually won’t kill them. Also, the player has to draw enemies to the trap, which can make it tricky at times.
Lightning Cloak
You can use cloaks as another great spell in any of the three main types of destruction spells. When facing a lot of enemies in a small space, the Lightning Cloak is a great choice. When an enemy gets close to the player, they take eight health damage and four magicka damage for every second that they stay close.
Lightning Cloaks can be very helpful because they last for sixty seconds. This means that players can cast the cloak and then focus on other spells while the cloak continues to do damage, quicker killing any nearby enemies. This is one of the best mage builds in Slope Game.
Thunderbolt
Thunderbolt is an expert-level Skyrim destruction spell that does a lot of damage. With Thunderbolt, you can hit someone with a wave of electricity that hurts them sixty health points and thirty magicka points.
The cost of magicka is one thing that holds Thunderbolt back a bit. Since casting Thunderbolt costs a lot of magicka, players might want to look at other lightning damage spells if they don’t have clothes that greatly lower the cost of magicka or a very large magicka bar.
Chain Lightning
Though it’s a lower-level spell in Skyrim, Chain Lightning is used more often than Thunderbolt as a lightning spell. Fans are still arguing about which is the best spell. Chain Lightning is an adept-level spell that does forty points of damage to enemies’ health and twenty points of damage to their magicka. It costs a lot less magicka than Thunderbolt, which makes it easier to use.
When facing groups of enemies, Chain Lightning is also very useful because the damage will jump from target to target if the enemies are close enough to each other. This means that Chain Lightning can be used all the time from lower levels on, and it can be used against single enemies or groups of enemies.
Wall Of Storms
Wall spells are very useful in many settings, but they work especially well when you’re in a small space with a lot of enemies. Players with a high level can cast this spell as an expert to make a wall of lightning that hits any characters it touches and deals 50 damage per second.
A simple way to quickly wipe out a whole field of enemies is to call out a lot of them and then use Wall of Storms magic to make them come at the player. Players will not be sorry if they learn this skill as soon as possible, especially if they want to fight waves of draugr in dungeons.
Lightning Bolt
Even though Lightning Bolt is one of the least powerful lightning skills in Skyrim, it is one of the best. This apprentice-level spell still shocks enemies like sparks do, hitting them with a steady stream that costs a certain amount of magicka every second.
Even late in the game, Lightning Bolt is still a great lightning damage spell. As long as the player can keep this spell up for long enough, it does a lot of damage to enemies all the time. Hitting for 25 health and 12 magicka points per second is very powerful once players have enough magicka to keep it up.
Lightning Storm
Lightning Storm is the best lightning-based spell in Skyrim, and it might even be the best spell for destroying things in the whole game. This spell can kill most monsters in the game, but you can only get it by buying a spell tome from Faralda after finishing the destruction spell master quest at the College of Winterhold.
Lightning Storm is a great spell because it sends out a wave that hits enemies in a circle and heals them for 75 health and 37 magicka points. The Dragonborn and any friends nearby are immune to the damage. If players can learn this skill and use it often, they can use lightning magic to quickly kill dragons and other big creatures.
