If you want to beat hard parts of Honkai: Star Rail like Memory of Chaos or Swarm Disaster, these are the best DPS characters to use.
Once you’ve played Honkai: Star Rail for a while, you may already know how important it is to have a good DPS character. You can have up to four players on your team at the same time, and the battles are turn-based. At this point, the game has more than 30 amazing personalities.
You’ll be able to play harder levels like Memory of Chaos, Simulated Universe, and Swarm Disaster as you move through the main story. You should know about the best DPS characters to use if you want to beat these game types and get the rewards.
Dan Heng
When you finish the main story of Honkai: Star Rail, you’ll get the second free character, Dan Heng. Everyone loves him because he’s so chill. His path is The Hunt, and he is a four-star Wind character. He can help you quickly beat the hardest content in both the early and late game.
His Basic Attack, Skill, and Ultimate all deal a lot of damage to a single target, but there’s a lot more you need to know about him before you can use him right. With his Skill, Dan Heng can slow down enemies, and his Ultimate and Basic Attacks do more damage to enemies that are slowed down. In addition, when he strikes an enemy, he can raise his own SPD.
Sushang
Right now, Honkai: Star Rail doesn’t have enough Physical DPS characters. That’s where Sushang comes in. She is on the road of The Hunt because she is a Cloud Knight on The Xianzhou Luofu. As long as an enemy has Physical Weakness, Sushang is great at breaking their Weakness bar because her Ultimate does so much damage to them.
In fact, getting a lot of Weakness Breaks is the best way to use Sushang because they let her do more damage and get more turns. If you can get her first Eidolon, she can also get one Skill Point back when you use her Skill on an enemy whose Weakness is broken. This means that the Skill costs no Skill Points at all.
Hook
Destruction is by far one of the best paths in Honkai: Star Rail. Characters on this path can do a lot of damage and keep themselves alive to a certain point. One of the characters on this road is Little Hook. She is great at dealing high Fire damage to both single-target and multiple-target enemies. She also has a chance of applying Burn to enemies that hit her.
When she uses the Burn effect on an enemy, she does more damage, gets some Energy back, and heals herself. Because the enemy is less likely to use Crowd Controlling debuffs against Hook, she can easily heal herself and help you win any fight.
Clara
Right now, Clara is the only Physical DPS character in the game besides Sushang. Clara, as a five-star, can easily be much more useful than a four-star, but you’ll need to build her in a certain way. When Clara gets hit, Svarog comes back with a second blow that does most of her damage.
If any other partner gets hit after she uses her Ultimate, the follow-ups also happen. If this move hits an enemy that is marked, her Skill does extra damage to that enemy. She can do a lot of damage for free if you team her up with backup characters like Lynx or March who can make it more likely that she will be attacked.
Yanqing
If you look at Yanqing’s fight record in the main story, he might not seem like one of the best DPS characters, but if you build him right, he can be pretty good. Remember that Yanqing wants Skill Points a lot. To keep the Soulsteel Sync going, you should use his Skill every time you get a turn.
A lot of Yanqing’s stats get better when this ability is on, like his Critical Rate and Critical Damage. He also has a chance to Freeze enemies with his attacks. If Soulsteel Sync is on, you can get even more Crit DMG when you use his Ultimate.
Qingque
What’s more fun than being a Gacha character in a Gacha game? When you play Honkai: Star Rail, it’s normal to want to try your luck. Qingque lets you do that without spending your hard-earned Stellar Jades. Her skills come from the Celestial Jade, which is her best game.
A friend’s turn or your use of her Skill will randomly choose a certain number of Jade tiles from one of the three suits. Getting four tiles of the same suit is the main goal. This will give you an Enhanced Basic Attack that does a lot more damage. You can see, though, that Qingque can be a character who wants SP a lot if you’re not careful.
Jing Yuan
Jing Yuan is the general of the Cloud Knights and a five-star Lightning character who is on the path of skill. Every time you use his Skill or Ultimate, he can get two or three stacks of Lightning Lord. The Lord is its own thing and has a set amount of SPD. However, when it gains stacks, it can speed up its turn.
During its turn, the Lightning Lord can do a lot of damage to a wide area if it has enough stacks. But the Lightning Lord can’t do anything if Jing Yuan is controlling the crowd, and its attacks are completely random when there are many enemies on the floor, which makes this character even less certain.
Kafka
You can play as Kafka at the beginning of Honkai: Star Rail before you wake up the main character. The damage-over-time play style is possible in Snake Game because of her five-star Nihility. Because her Skill and Ultimate can quickly set off all of an enemy’s DoTs, this is the case.
But to get the most out of Kafka, you’ll need to team her up with one or two more DoT-based characters. You should give these characters a lot of Break Effect because the Weakness Break also adds a DoT that can be set off by Kafka.
Blade
Blade is a Wind Destruction character from The Xianzhou Luofu who was first shown as one of the Stellaron Hunters. He plays in a way that makes him risk his own health to make his Enhanced Basic Attacks, Ultimate, and follow-up attack do more damage.
Blade gains a stack for his Talent every time he is hit or has his health taken away. When his health reaches five stacks, he fires a second attack that hurts all enemies on the field and heals himself. Blade should be used with characters like Lynx or March 7th to make it more likely that he will be attacked.
Seele
Seele was the first limited character to come out in Honkai: Star Rail. For a long time, she was also the best DPS character. She is part of the “Hunt” path, but her best play style is as a “AoE” character. Seele gets an extra turn with a better state every time she beats an enemy.
This state makes her more dangerous and doesn’t count as a turn. This means that it uses all of other characters’ buffs without lowering their stacks. You can also use her in a one-Quantum team with Silver Wolf, Lynx, and Fu Xuan.
Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae
No one knows what the makers were thinking when they added Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae to the game because he ruins every single battle. Even if the enemy doesn’t have Imaginary Weakness, he can still do a lot of damage.
Imbibitor Lunae’s Skill can be used up to three times to make his Basic Attack stronger. This makes it give more damage to a single target or an area around him. You get special Skill Points when you use his Ultimate or Technique. You can also use these Points instead of regular Skill Points.
Jingliu
No one thought it was possible, but Hoyoverse put out a figure that was even stronger than Imbibitor Lunae. Jingliu is a player from The Xianzhou Luofu and has five stars in Ice Destruction. She gets a stack of Syzygy every time she uses her standard Skill. When she has two stacks, she becomes stronger.
When you get into this state, you can only have three stacks at a time, and you can only use her Skill when it’s her turn. This Skill doesn’t use a Skill Point; instead, it takes a little HP from all friends and does a lot of damage to three targets. She does a lot of damage over time and uses few Skill Points, which may make her the best DPS in the game.
