As the Senior Vice President at BTS Software Solutions, based in Colombia, MD, Bohne brings to the table a wealth of executive experience that spans an impressive 13 years. His role involves not only directing company operations but also strategically developing and implementing administrative processes while concurrently building various brands. This multifaceted approach underscores Bohne’s ability to navigate the complexities of the corporate world with finesse.

Before his foray into the corporate landscape, Bohne spent 11 years in the United States Army, where he honed his skills in technical system operations, intelligence fusion, tactical and strategic operations, team building, and training development and delivery. Notably, he served as an Original Weapons Intelligence Team (WIT) member during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), gaining invaluable combat experience. His expertise extended to areas such as C-IED pre- and post-blast investigation, biometric and forensic evidence collection, and C-IED site exploitation.

Bohne’s military career reflects a trajectory of continuous growth and accomplishment. As a Technical SIGINT Senior Coordinator and Lead Analyst, he managed a 24/7, dual-located virtual technical watch desk, showcasing his ability to handle high-pressure situations and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. His tenure as the Weapons Intelligence Team (WIT) Team Sergeant during OIF further highlighted his dedication to excellence, earning him the prestigious Military Intelligence Corps Knowlton Award for outstanding intelligence support to the Global War on Terrorism.

Transitioning seamlessly into the corporate arena, Bohne served as the Executive Vice President at Perceptix LLC in Baltimore, MD, from October 2011 to July 2016. In this capacity, he directed company operations, consistently surpassing revenue and growth goals. His leadership played a pivotal role in the short-term and long-range planning of the company, fostering its strategic development and growth. Bohne’s influence extended to the execution of business strategies for company products and services, demonstrating his ability to navigate complex business landscapes.

Bohne’s corporate journey reached new heights when he assumed the role of Chief Revenue Officer and later Senior Vice President of Growth at BTS Software Solutions. During his tenure, he doubled company revenue year over year, overseeing the growth of the staff from 10 to 100 employees. Bohne’s strategic vision and implementation of branding and marketing strategies opened doors to new teaming opportunities with partners, far exceeding growth strategy milestones each year.

His responsibilities included building, leading, and developing sales, business development, and corporate development teams to meet and exceed company revenue and profitability targets. Bohne prioritized customer satisfaction, product upgrades, strategic competitive wins, and the development of high-performing teams. His exceptional leadership skills were evident in the creation and implementation of a growth strategy that consistently delivered strong business results.

In May 2018, Thomas Bohne took on a new venture as the Founder and President of Kennel to Couch, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to Pit Bull Adoption Advocacy based in Bel Air, MD. This initiative showcases Bohne’s commitment to making a positive impact beyond the corporate realm. Kennel to Couch partners with shelters and community organizations to sponsor Pit Bulls in need of adoption, providing them with a comprehensive sponsorship benefits package upon adoption.

Bohne’s academic journey is as impressive as his professional one. He earned a Master of Science in Marketing from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University in 2016. His commitment to continuous learning is underscored by his earlier pursuits—a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, an Associates of Applied Science in Intelligence Operations from Cochise College, and an Associates of Science in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson and Wales University.

In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Bohne’s commitment to excellence is reflected in the numerous professional awards he has received. These include the Combat Action Badge, Knowlton Award for Excellence in Military Intelligence, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal, among others.
